About Me

Hi! My name is Kati and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog! I am married to my best friend whom I've known my whole life.  He is my favorite person in the whole world and I love spending my days with him.  We were married on June 23, 2012 in the same church that both of our parents were married in 25 years before.  We were also married by the same person as they were--my grandfather.  We are so blessed!

My background is a little different than most.  I grew up in Argentina, South America where my parents are missionaries.  We moved there when I was only 2 years old--so I'm basically a native :).  I am so thankful I was able to spend most of my life in a different culture.  I have been blessed with two first languages (English and Spanish), many friends around the world, and a rich worldview.  I've been able to experience, eat, see, and do things that most people can only dream of--for example: the best beef in the world! Yum!

The most important part about my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ.  In His love, he gave his life so that I might be forgiven of my sin.  When I was 4 years old, I recognized that I was a sinner, and I asked Jesus to forgive me and to be the Lord of my life.  He gives true joy and meaning in my life, and I'm looking forward to living eternally with Him in Heaven some day.  If you'd like to know more about how you can be saved, please let me know!

I love being a wife and having a home to keep.  I enjoy cooking, organizing, crafting, sewing, and decorating.   This blog was born as a place for me to compile and share these things.  I also run a small Etsy shop where my favorite things to make are crocheted tractor and car hats for little boys.  I'd love for you to head on over and take a look if you're interested!
